"SOME OF THE ACTING STOOD OUT. [LITTLE RED] WAS WELL MATCHED BY SCHYLER VARGAS' LIP-SMACKING WOLF. HE WAS ALSO COMIC CATNIP AS CINDERELLA'S PRINCE."

Schyler Vargas has made a notable impact in the world of musical theatre, delivering acclaimed performances in a variety of roles. Highlights of his career include playing the Wolf/Cinderella's Prince in Into the Woods, Riff in West Side Story, and Strephon in Gilbert & Sullivan's Iolanthe. His versatility in both comedic and serious roles has earned him widespread praise.

At Carnegie Hall, Schyler has performed alongside some of the premiere crossover and theatre artists of our time, including Kelsey Grammer, Nathan Gunn, Christine Ebersole, and Santino Fontana. His performance as Connie and the Ragged Man in Ricky Ian Gordon’s The Grapes of Wrath, in which he worked directly with the composer, stands out as a significant milestone in his career.

Schyler has had the privilege of working with prolific directors and conductors such as Ted Sperling, Francesca Zambello, David Charles Abell, and James Lowe. His talent and dedication have also led him to be a semi-finalist in two prestigious competitions: the Lotte Lenya Competition and the American Traditions Competition.
